BEING STILL

Hello everyone,it’s divine here again a growing Christian like you .It’s so nice to be back here writing this little piece of knowledge for you all. Few weeks off here I’ve been down with school and all,i was so stressed and tired and worried but my point here is I got the inspiration of being still from every situation and occurrence that took place!

I then asked myself:why can’t I be still when I have a God working in the background for me.it got to me when I realized that I had taken the work upon myself and that made me forget that I have someone who sees my heart and knows exactly what I need.

Trust me beloveds ,God worries about us .He knows you are exhausted that’s why he said we should lay down our burdens before him,he is ready to carry bear them all

When we start to worry and try to solve all our problems by ourselves,then we get frustrated and tired .let’s know that there are certain problems we can’t solve without the help of God .

We need to learn to be still .It says in the book of

PSALMS 46:10-:BE STILL ,AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD ;I WILL BE EXALTED AMONG THE HEATHEN AND I WILL BE EXALTED IN THE EARTH.

God isn’t man,let’s know he is God and he hasn’t forgotten you nor given you up for your problems .The lord will never forsake his own .

Stillness brings you clarity.It draws you into the moment and make your thoughts and ideas clearer than they were before when your were worrying or when that sudden anxiety kicks in. When you become still for God you begin to understand his promises as written in the scriptures: JEREMIAH 29:11-:FOR I KNOW THE PLANS I HAVE FOR YOU DECLARES THE LORD,PLANS TO PROSPER YOU AND NOT TO HARM YOU ,PLANS TO GIVE YOU HOPE AND A FUTURE.

There is a certain comfort when we get the reassurance feeling from God .At times we need to be still and allow God to work it out .Being still in God will enable you to see the direction God is giving you and also enable God to lay impressions on your mind .

Beloveds while being still do not forget the power of prayer ,let’s pray without ceasing,staying still doesn’t require full time rest away from God . Staying still in God is remembering his promises and also knowing that God will work it out

There’s a part of the lyrics to one of my favorite songs I love so much ,it says -:

BE STILL MY SOUL BE STILL AND KNOW. LEAN IN TAKE HOLD. IN GOD ALONE
