FOR MY CHRISTIAN TEENAGE GIRLS

Hello my name is divine and mostly what I do here is to enlighten you more on how to live a Christ like life but today we will be talking about something different

Growing up we’d be told what to do as a girl and becoming a lady , society puts up a standard for us making it hard for some girls and I saw this growing up.

Girls I wanna encourage you today .A life with Christ and a sparkle of encouragement might just do

Growing up you wanna be good enough, you wanna be noticed and you want to be seen and heard but don’t try sooo hard that you forget that you’re special and okay just the way you are

Before we jump into the Bible verses on these topics, I’d like to take a second to redefine the term self-esteem.

Self esteem is typically defined as confidence in one’s own worth or abilities.

As a Christian, I define self esteem as having confidence that I am who God says I am.

It’s not dependent on my own abilities (because those can be so unreliable!), but instead on knowing that God will equip me for the workHe has set out for me to do.

I know you say at times that IVE TRIED SO HARD BUT IM NOT GOOD ENOUGH

Don’t give in to that lie!

You are more than enough, but don’t take my word for it.

1. Joshua 1:9

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

When you don’t feel like you’re good enough, it’s easy to want to blend in, hide in the back, and avoid bringing any attention to yourself.

But God commands you to be strong and courageous!

2. Jeremiah 17:7

But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.

Another question you find yourself asking is should you date ????????

The Bible doesn’t talk a lot specifically about dating. There is a reason for that. Dating is a very new practice in the history of humanity. The idea of choosing someone to go out and spend one on one time with outside of a marriage commitment is still very new. In biblical times, there was no “dating”. As a result, there is no passage that instructs specifically how Christians should handle the issue of dating.

1. Your primary focus should be on your relationship with God. Dating can distract you.

2. You place yourself into unnecessary temptation and sin. Dating can defile you.

3. You don’t have the spiritual maturity and refuse to guard your heart. Dating can damage you.

4. You affections for your date is greater than your affections for God. Dating can deceive you.

There is another question. Should I wait ???? Is waiting on God good ????

If you’re a Christian teen, odds are you’ve wondered how dating and sex fit into God’s plan for your life – which is great! It’s so important that we wrestle with topics like this, and make sure that we’re honouring God with our whole lives.

1. God Wants You to Wait for The One Not By Remaining Still But Rather By Following Jesus

Waiting often implies sitting, stopping, and relying on others to come to you. But this is not a biblical view when you are waiting for a blessing that only God can give you.

2. God Wants You to Wait for The One By Choosing Not to Date Someone You Already Know Is Not The One

3. God Wants You to Wait for The One By Abstaining from Emotional and Sexual Promiscuity

Lastly I’ll add more to this by reminding us to encourage ourselves always

Timothy 4:12

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

The teenage years can be difficult and lonely as most teens struggle to fit in and take on new responsibilities.

But remember that you are beautiful, smart , you’re light gurllll you need to shine Remember always that God loves you and whenever the world is trying to put an end to that shine ,turn to the word .Gods word is alive and he has made promises for us

You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Love DIVINE
