  • HOW THE BIBLE CAN HELP US PART 2

Hello there . Promised a second part and here you go

A lot of explanation going on about how the Bible can help us and YES!!! the Bible does provides reassuring answers to these questions we ask ourselves about this tribulating world

    1) HOW DOES THE BIBLE GIVE US HOPE

The Bible’s promises can give you future and hope {Jeremiah29vs11-12}. These promises help us to cope with our present problems,to have a positive attitude and to also find lasting happiness.

    2) WHAT KIND OF FUTURE DOES THE BIBLE DESCRIBE??(Revelation 21vs 4)??

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

The problems that make life seem hopeless today -(such as poverty, injustice, sickness and death) will no longer exist .The Bible promises that humans will be able to enjoy life forever in paradise on earth .

    3) HOW CAN YOU BUILD YOUR TRUST ON THE HOPE THE BIBLE GIVES ?

Many people hope for good things to happen, but they cannot be sure that their hopes will ever be fulfilled.

Acts 17 vs 11: These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”

    – Received ,readiness in mind & Searched daily {kjv}

What the Bible promises is different . We can build up our trust in what it says by “carefully examining the scriptures”(Acts 17vs 11).As you study the Bible you will be able to decide for yourself whether you can believe what it says about the future .

Dear reader :a note to self ,the act of bible studying will help a lot with building intimacy with Christ .

Building a personal relationship with Christ requires you to know him personally and you can’t claim to know him without reading his word .You can’t communicate with someone you don’t know neither build a perfect relationship.

God said in his word that the wisdom of this world is foolish and that he has provided us with better understanding and knowledge and this can only be found in the scriptures

You need to personally know these words .

Read your Bible today and ask God for better understanding of what he is trying to say .I pray that the spirit of the living God will manifest in the lives of each and everyone of us reading this article

    God bless you all

  • HOW THE BIBLE CAN HELP YOU (PART 1)✍️

We all have questions about life ,suffering,

death and the future. More questions like why are we here ,why do people die and so on …. The Bible helps us answers life’s big questions and gives us practical advice on how we can live daily

I’ll be dropping points on how the Bible can be of great help. As we know the Bible is an inspiration from God . God himself has provided better knowledge and understanding in his word. The wisdom of this world is foolish and we received the greatest knowledge from God ,it’s all in his words

Reading the Bible might seem a bit hard for some while some tend to read it to know what happened at some time and how it happened (Bible stories)

We need to understand that every word written had a reason and also a meaning that’s why God has given us the Holy Spirit to help us with bible studying . Yess!!!! He can be of help ,we just tend to not ask for help from him and then Bible study looks so hard . The Holy Spirit can help with the interpretation of verses giving it meaning that you never even thought about .A verse in the Bible can stir up a lot of meanings ,that’s why we need the help of the Holy Spirit

Here are few points on what the Bible can do for you

THE BIBLE CAN GUIDE YOU:[Psalms 119vs105]

The Bible is a powerful light .We can use the Bible to show us how to make good decisions and to help us see what lies ahead

Question 1: How David viewed the Bible in psalms 119vs 105

Psalm 119vs 105: your word is a lamp for my feet ,a light on my path .

David was the writer of the book of psalms and in my perspective I think he viewed it in a “without your word I’ll miss my way ”

And also verse 105 implores us to immerse ourselves in Gods words ,finding in them a source of hope, strength and direction

Checking verse 98-105 we can see that the psalmist knew what he was saying because he was not just emotional,he understood what the word of God meant and how it has really helped him .

In my opinion it was more of like an appraisal to God

He knows how capable the word of God is . Before we can come to a conclusion as humans that something is definitely worth it ,we would have seen it’s effect take place

David saw Gods word as a necessity (a lamp unto his feet and a light unto his part) as a lamp illuminates a dark path allowing us to see where we are going ,Gods word sheds light on our journey, helping us navigate life’s challenges and make decisions that align with his will

In essence ,this verse highlights the importance of scripture in-:

    1)Illuminating our understanding

    2)Guiding our steps

    3) providing direction and purpose.

It emphasizes the role of Gods word as a constant source of guidance, comfort and wisdom in our lives

2)THE BIBLE CAN ANSWER QUESTIONS [Matthew7 vs 7]

Matthew 7:7 — King James Version7:Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

We all have questions about life and what is happening here on earth ,what will be the point of everything, and what do we have to loose .So many questions!!!! The Bible helps answer these questions and also give practical examples. The Bible can answer your questions. You can’t get knowledge you didn’t search for and you can’t find answers you didn’t look for ,you can’t also receive answers to what you never asked for .

Now read the text above and yes that just all you have to do

And with the help of the Holy Spirit I hope that you get answers to whatever has been bothering your mind

Note to self : we through patience and comfort of the scriptures we might have hope [Romans 15 vs 4]
