  • FULFILLMENT

The term “fulfillment” encompasses satisfaction or happiness resulting from fully developing one’s potential, among other meanings. For Christians, however, the definition of fulfillment extends far beyond this. If you’re wondering how to find fulfillment as a Christian, it’s about knowing and living your purpose.

    Acts chapter 16 vs 14-15
:14 And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.
:15 And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us.

Let’s delve into the story of Lydia, an affluent and successful businesswoman in the Bible. Despite her beauty and wealth, Lydia felt unfulfilled. However, when she heard Paul’s preaching, she was converted, and her faith was complete. She became a whole person after finding purpose.

As the story illustrates in our text above ,having everything – wealth, success, and status – does not guarantee fulfillment. There is a void within every person that only Christ can fill. Financial empowerment without purpose does not equal fulfillment.

It’s essential to understand that fulfillment is not tied to circumstances like your job, financial status, or success. Instead, fulfillment is found in pursuing God’s will for your life – your purpose. God created you for a specific purpose, and living it out is your responsibility.

Your purpose on earth is not merely to exist or please God through superficial actions. Rather, your purpose is to love God and love others, wherever life takes you. So, if you’re still searching for fulfillment as a Christian, remember that loving God and loving others is the key.

By living out your God-given purpose, you’ll show up fully each day, shining your light as a Christian in your environment. When you live in a way that’s pleasing to God, you’ll be in His will.

  • GOD KNOWS

I didn’t know that school and exams could take my attention away from blogging for a while, but it didn’t stop me from writing blissful articles to share here. On the first day of my exams, I had a thought-provoking moment. I was prepared for my exam, but I had been hit hard by stress from the previous weeks. I was angry about the situation, and I just had to rant to God about how tired I was. However, I quickly changed the subject and became positive as I felt guilty for doubting God in the first place.

After I wrote my exam, it really hit me – the fact that God knows. Like, He actually knows. It sounds plain, right? But God knows what you’re about to say before you even come to His presence, and yet He still listens to what you have to say. To me, it’s incredibly cool and has so much warmth to it. That pain, that feeling, that excitement – He knows it all.

Jesus knows us fully. He knows our strengths and weaknesses, our family history, our biological makeup, and our worldview. He knows every nook and cranny of us. He knows us better than we know ourselves. And He also knows suffering on an intense, personal level. He knows what it feels like to be happy and excited – everything we feel, He knows!

Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

When we face life’s challenges, we often conclude that God is unaware of what we’re going through or that He cannot see the magnitude of our struggles. But is this really true? Is God oblivious to our pain? Absolutely not. God is fully aware of everything we experience. If He knows the number of hairs on our heads, then He surely knows the details of our lives and the difficulties we face.

Always remember that God sees and knows your situation. He desires to demonstrate His power on your behalf, but it requires your faith. Faith, not emotions or complaints, is what moves God and activates His power. Be encouraged today to rise up, put your faith to work, and do what is needed.

    STAY BLESSED.
