    A MANS COUNTENANCE GENESIS 4vs 6-7

Disobedience/sin can make your countenance fall as a believer.

    What is countenance?

It is to hide face or to show displeasure, anger and withdrawal. It can also mean facial expressions

But here I’ll will be discussing on how sin can make your countenance fall as a believer.let’s check out the book of Genesis 4vs 6-7)

Genesis chap 4 vs 6-7 (KJV). Vs 6: And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is they countenance fallen ? Vs7: if thou doest well ,shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well ,sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him .

Like we said countenance can be anger or withdrawal.we all know that God accepted Abel’s offering and had no respect for that of Cain

But we won’t be talking about offerings now but our life’s as believers

God was telling Cain that if he had done what Abel did ,he would have gotten the same results

Not doing well enough as a believer would cause your countenance to fall in the presence of God .

Now let’s talk about a particular struggle believer’s face that is the Act of condemnation

When you’re facing struggles in your relationship with God .At times our human nature makes us feel less of yourself and the compare yourself with believers around you, while at that your countenance begins to fall

Vs 6: A question was thrown to Cain that why is his countenance fallen and why is he angry

Vs 7: This verse further explained further that if had done well ,he would have been accepted

Dear believers of God ,if we do not do well ,sim lieth at our door as said in vs 7 and unto us shall be desire and that desire will rule over us .

There are things that makes our countenance fall as Christian’s and it makes us feel disappointed that we are not doing well enough .

If we do no keep up with righteousness and do not do well ,that probability of you sining is very high ,sin will only lead to your countenance falling and if there is one thing sin does to us is that it hardens our heart towards God and the things of God,and unto you shall be your desire, and that desire will rule over you.

When you expect to see changes and growth as a believer check on your desire .

This is why examining yourself as a believer is important.

To see changes you need to do well and thirst for Gods righteousness each day .

Sin will only make your countenance drop as a believer

If you do well ,you will definitely be accepted as written in Vs7

There is a will to submit ,if you truly honor that person

Submit to God and continue to thirst for his righteousness

If you are reading this and your countenance has fallen as a result of your sins and twisted desires

Aim to do well today and seek righteousness, adjust the object of your desires and honor God .

Flee from sin dear friend 🫂🤍

“SIN” it does something to us and that is why God said FLEE

I pray we receive the grace and strength to always thirst for Gods righteousness and a heart that will always obey Gods words

    With love Divine

  • GODS LOVE

    GODS LOVE

    Hello everyone

It’s another beautiful day to realize Gods love for you .I don’t just want you to read this ,you should read this and come to the full understanding that Gods love for you is never ending

God said he has loved us even before we were formed

Have you ever imagined what manner of love is this ???!!!!

Even before we were knitted in our mothers womb he know your name

If you have ever doubted the love God has for you ,I want you to know today that his love for you is never ending

He that loved you before you were formed will never look at you now and say this is not the person I want to be seeing

    He loves you that much

The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.” (Psalm 103:8 NIV)

Although we may feel love as an emotion, love is really a choice. God chose to love us, not because of anything we have done, or will do, but simply as a choice of His grace toward us. And, because God loves us, He wants us to choose to love others as He does. Love is hard to define, but we can look at what God does to see what it looks like when He loves someone. One of the best ways to see that is to look at Jesus’ life.

You need to get to know God more to realize how much he loves you

    Even when you fail him

    Even when you doubt him

Even when you worry so much that he won’t do certain things for you

His love for you is unwavering

And we should love him back

He sent his only son to die for our salvation

Resonate more on how much he loves you and look at how deeply you fall in love with him .

Let’s not take his love for granted just because he loves us anyway

    He wants our whole heart

Thank you God for loving us so much
